FREEZER LAMB
A limited amount of whole or half freezer lamb is available (locally only) April or May. The lamb is processed at a local USDA inspected processor and is vacuum packed in cuts such as: leg with bone in, shoulder with bone, lamb ribs, loin chops, stew meat, organs, shank, rack and ground.
Our lamb is humanely raised on pasture without hormones or antibiotics, and is mostly grassfed though grain is fed at weaning for a limited time, and then as a small daily treat. Leicester Longwools are classified by the American Livestock Breed Conservancy as critically endangered. By buying the meat, customers are not only getting delicious lamb but are also helping to preserve the breed by supporting those of us who raise them.
