It's breeding season again so on Sunday I put my big ram, Ace, in with his group of ewes in the pasture behind the barn. Tony Romo, , my yearling ram, went next to the barn with his small group. Yesterday morning, when I went ![]() up to feed everyone, there's the gate (with 2 chains) busted wide open & Ace in with Tony's group. Evidently Tony's group had more ewes in heat and Ace was much more interested in them! I got everyone back where they belonged, reinforced the gate, and then left for the day. I got home about 6pm and there Ace was, again, with the gate busted open. I gave up & moved Tony & his group down to the lower pasture - out of sight. I am glad both of my rams are so easy going otherwise this whole day would have been a lot more difficult.

I write about troubles with grandkids and you write about sheep troubles! I know this was frustrating, but it made my day! I laughed like crazy.
