Re-attaching ewe to lamb!

Ivy, one of my 2 year old ewes, had twins with her first lambing last week. She got confused about that second lamb and was partially rejecting him.  She was only occasionally butting him, but I was worried about her winding up totally rejecting him.  Tried the old method of putting 2 lamb coats on the little ewe lamb (who was accepted), then after 48 hours took the inner coat, turned it inside out and put it on the ram lamb, and left the other coat on the little girl.  This worked a little bit as he now smelled more like the accepted lamb but there was still the occasional butting and not letting him nurse.  So after 24 hours tried switching the coats and this seems to have done the trick - must have totally confused Ivy's nose!  Both lambs doing fine now - yay!
